Purpose of the Job
The Marketing Project Manager will act as a creative traffic controller and team administrator, specifically project managing creative assets for email, paid media, and case studies. This role is crucial for coordinating with high efficiency all third-party vendors, including creative partners, translation agencies, and web production agencies, as well as internal stakeholder Product Marketing Managers (PMMs).
Key Responsibilities
- Function as a creative traffic controller and team administrator, overseeing creative deliverables.
- Project manage the creation of assets for email campaigns, paid media initiatives, and case studies.
- Coordinate efficiently with all third-party vendors: creative partners, translation agencies, web production agencies, and stakeholder PMMs.
- Maintain extensive copy documentation, with a strong focus on email content.
- Responsible for packaging and delivering assets to third-party agencies.
- Track program metrics and success using internal client dashboards.
- Serve as a strategic thinker responsible for program reporting, analysis, and recommendations.
- Act as the operational "gatekeeper" for the broader team lead, managing approvals, tracking, and maintaining the team’s operational cadence and performance submissions.
Knowledge, Skills + Experience
- BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 5+ years of experience in marketing program execution, preferably with a background in a marketing role at a technology or media company.
- Ability to work cross-functionally within a highly matrixed organization.
- Possess distinctive problem-solving and analytical skills, demonstrating a high degree of execution excellence and the ability to meet strict timelines.
- Deep knowledge of Google productivity tools.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with external agencies and internal teams within the marketing organization.
- Execution-focused with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to juggle multiple priorities and meet aggressive deadlines in a very fast-paced environment.
- Proven project management skills are a must, with the ability to collaborate across various teams and drive decisions quickly.
