About the Role
HeyOrca is seeking a QA Specialist to help our development team deliver reliable, stable, and customer-friendly releases. In this role, you will focus on manual testing and work with social media management workflows to ensure a seamless experience.
Responsibilities
- Manual Testing: Execute functional, regression, and exploratory tests on new features and bug fixes, validate cross-browser and cross-device compatibility, and test against various social media platform requirements.
- QA Process & Documentation: Create and maintain clear test cases, document bugs in Jira, and collaborate with developers and product managers to clarify requirements.
- Collaboration: Participate in project meetings, work closely with product, engineering, and customer care teams, and advocate early for end-user quality concerns.
What We're Looking For
Must Have: Experience with manual QA testing for web and mobile apps, strong understanding of QA methodologies and defect tracking, proficiency with Jira, and excellent documentation and communication skills.
Nice to Have: Familiarity with social media platforms, experience in CI/CD environments, basic exposure to automation frameworks (Playwright, Puppeteer, Selenium), and experience with Git-based tools (Bitbucket, GitHub, GitLab).
