Job Description
In HPE Hybrid Cloud, we lead the innovation agenda and technology roadmap for all of HPE. This includes managing the design, development, and product portfolio of our next-generation cloud platform, Green Lake. Working with customers, we help them reimagine their information technology needs to deliver a simple, consumable solution that helps them drive their business results. Responsibilities
What you’ll do:
- Working with virtualization technologies: VMware, Microsoft Hyper-V latest versions.
- Automate processes and tasks using various scripting languages and tools
- Build, Design, Install and Configure servers in our Datacenter/Cloud environment
- Microsoft and Linux related technologies
- Storage technologies
- Provide solutions to any complex infrastructure IT-related challenges
- Create internal tech guides and document them according to team procedures
Qualifications
What You Need To Bring
Education and Experience Required:
- 5 years of experience as a System Administrator
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer science, Engineering, or related technical field and/or certified courses
Knowledge And Skills
- Proven experience and deep knowledge of VMware vSphere end to end - Must
- Experience with VMware Aria automation, management, design, and configuration
- Scripting capabilities (PowerShell, Java or python)
- Experience with Cloud platforms as AWS, Azure
- Experience with storage devices such as NetApp, INFINIDAT using NFS, VMFS, vVOL
- Proven experience in Microsoft servers - AD, DNS, DHCP, GPO
- Hands-on experience and excellent knowledge with physic server’s hardware
- High-level troubleshooting skills - Must
- Excellent interpersonal skills – Must
- High-level communication skills
- Good to have Hands-on experience with various Linux distributions installs, manage and troubleshoot
- Knowledge in networking will be desirable.
