Overview
The Customer Operations Manager at Hertz focuses on front-of-house processes, customer service, and maximizing revenue. This role involves directing frontline employee activities and supporting a Senior Customer Operations Manager to ensure maximum performance through operational leadership, effective communication, and efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Manage daily customer operations and revenue generation.
- Lead processes to exceed customer expectations and align the sales force.
- Resolve customer issues to ensure a positive experience.
- Drive the sales process for value-added solutions.
- Champion employee productivity and adherence to Standards of Work (SOW).
- Communicate effectively to build employee engagement.
- Conduct performance evaluations and participate in recruiting.
- Provide updates and maintain administrative duties per company policy.
Requirements
- 1-3 years’ experience in Customer Service or Operations (Car Rental, Hospitality, or Tourism preferred).
- High School Diploma required, Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
- Moderate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong collaboration, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to lead diverse, high-performing teams and drive process change.
- Excellent organizational, time management, and decision-making skills.
