Overview

The Customer Operations Manager at Hertz focuses on front-of-house processes, customer service, and maximizing revenue. This role involves directing frontline employee activities and supporting a Senior Customer Operations Manager to ensure maximum performance through operational leadership, effective communication, and efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Manage daily customer operations and revenue generation.
  • Lead processes to exceed customer expectations and align the sales force.
  • Resolve customer issues to ensure a positive experience.
  • Drive the sales process for value-added solutions.
  • Champion employee productivity and adherence to Standards of Work (SOW).
  • Communicate effectively to build employee engagement.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and participate in recruiting.
  • Provide updates and maintain administrative duties per company policy.

Requirements

  • 1-3 years’ experience in Customer Service or Operations (Car Rental, Hospitality, or Tourism preferred).
  • High School Diploma required, Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
  • Moderate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong collaboration, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to lead diverse, high-performing teams and drive process change.
  • Excellent organizational, time management, and decision-making skills.
