Do you have a passion for the life sciences and a proven track record of driving sales growth? Herspiegel Consulting is seeking a dynamic VP of Business Development to lead new customer acquisition efforts in the Greater Philadelphia/New Jersey/New York Metro area.

Responsibilities

  • Strategic Growth Leadership: Develop and execute sales and account management strategies; identify key markets and accounts.
  • New Business Acquisition: Generate and qualify new leads, manage the sales pipeline, lead presentations and proposals, and close new business deals.
  • Relationship Management: Build strong relationships with key decision-makers and serve as a trusted advisor.
  • Market Expertise: Maintain understanding of life sciences trends, Herspiegel's services, and communicate thought leadership.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, life sciences, or related field.
  • At least 3+ years of business development experience in life science consulting or pharmaceutical/biotech sales.
  • Established network within the pharmaceutical and biotech industry.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Remote role; candidate should be based in the Greater Philadelphia/New Jersey Metro area with ability to travel and meet clients in person at least 2 days a week.
