V.I.E SOC/CERT Analyst New York

Job Overview

Join Hermès as a V.I.E SOC/CERT Analyst in New York. You will be part of the CERT team responsible for detecting and responding to global cybersecurity incidents for a prestigious French house. The team operates on a Follow the Sun model with members based in Paris, Tokyo, and New York.

Key Responsibilities

• Run (50%): Analyze, investigate, and remediate security alerts from various solutions (EDR, Active Directory, Firewall, Proxy, AV/EPP, VPN, Email GW, Winevtx endpoints, Phishing Reports, etc.).
• Build: Enhance detection capabilities by integrating new log sources, parsing data, creating detection use cases for SIEM/EDR, participating in Purple Team exercises, reducing attack surface via TTP blocking, contributing to cybersecurity solution projects (RFI, RFP, POC…), and improving CERT documentation and processes.
• Cyber Threat Intelligence: Monitor and produce operational and strategic CTI.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate holds a Bac+5 in IT or Cybersecurity, has at least 2 years of experience in a SOC/CSIRT/CERT role, and possesses advanced knowledge of Windows and Linux, malware techniques, attack paths, and detection methods. Strong communication skills, critical thinking, curiosity, autonomy, organization, and rigour are essential.

Contract & Location Details

This is an 18-month V.I.E contract, preceded by a 3 to 6-month integration period in Paris (Campus Cyber & Pantin). Ensure you meet the V.I.E eligibility criteria, including age limits, nationality, service obligations, civic rights, and physical aptitude requirements.
