Assistant International Institutional Press Attaché Internship at Hermès

The Communication Department at Hermès brings together experts in strategy, design, production, and activation of communication tools, implemented by the Group's subsidiaries. This team's mission is to promote the Hermès signature while also protecting its business model.

Within the Press/Influence department, and as part of the communication strategy, the press attachés develop, manage, and activate the press/influence relations of the Hermès Group.

You will report to the International Press/Influence Relations Manager and assist the team in conducting international and national events such as exhibitions, store openings, etc.

Hermès International, the Group's Holding company, is looking for an Assistant International Institutional Press Attaché for its Communication Department.

This is a 6-month full-time, paid internship, available from the second half of 2026. Based in Paris.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the complete organization of Parisian or international events.
  • Monitor the creation of press tools (kits, press releases, etc.).
  • Produce documentation for article projects (visuals, texts, etc.).
  • Manage various contacts with subsidiary press teams.
  • Prepare internal press reviews.
  • Ensure administrative follow-up (quotes, budgets, etc.).
  • Proofread and translate texts.

Candidate Profile

You have previous professional experience where you demonstrated organizational skills, rigor, and strong interpersonal abilities. You are eager to invest in an internship with a strong international focus, requiring openness, autonomy/maturity, adaptability, and reactivity. Daily interaction with press services of international subsidiaries requires a very fluent command of English, both spoken and written. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint, is essential.
