Position Purpose
As a Financial Partner/Universal Associate, you will promote the financial well-being of members by building and deepening relationships through exceptional customer service and tailored solutions. You will guide members towards suitable account and loan products, cross-sell services, and process transactions efficiently.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities
- Process deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, transfers and more accurately.
- Assist with setting up Online Banking, Remote Deposit Capture, Merchant Services, and ACH Manager.
- Support branch management in balancing ATMs, vaults, training, and daily operations.
- Engage with members to discuss commercial loan products and account services.
- Participate in community events, outbound activities, and digital engagements.
- Comply with federal and state regulations and credit union policies.
Requirements
Education/Certification: High School Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree preferred. NMLS License required; Notary License required or to be obtained within 9 months.
Experience: 4+ years in customer service and sales, preferably in the financial industry.
Skills/Abilities: Critical thinking, effective communication, needs-based selling, and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
