About the Role: Analyst, Legal Technology Strategic Applications
We are seeking an Analyst, Strategic Applications to join our market-leading Digital Legal Delivery team at Herbert Smith Freehills Kramer. This is a hands-on position at the convergence of law, technology, and innovation, ideal for an individual who excels at translating intricate legal needs into scalable, high-impact digital solutions.
You will collaborate closely with lawyers, clients, technologists, and digital leaders to design, configure, and support workflow and document automation solutions that significantly enhance the delivery of legal services.
What You'll Do
- Design and deliver workflow and document automation solutions across firm-wide and client-facing projects.
- Translate legal and business requirements into actionable technology solutions.
- Partner with legal teams, clients, and IT to ensure solutions are scalable, compliant, and secure.
- Support strategic initiatives such as Claims Management, Regulatory Reporting, and Commercial Contracting.
- Configure solutions directly and/or enable workflow developers to build reusable workflows.
- Contribute to the evolution of the team's technology stack, including GenAI-enabled tools.
- Maintain high-quality documentation and support strong governance and risk management standards.
What You'll Bring
- Experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar role designing workflows and digital solutions within a law firm, legal services, or professional services environment.
- Strong practical experience with legal technology tools, such as Kira, Contract Express, DocuSign, HighQ (ShareDo desirable).
- Solid understanding of Microsoft 365, including Excel, SharePoint, Teams, and Power BI.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills—able to explain technical concepts clearly.
- A structured yet creative problem-solving approach, with an interest in automation and emerging technology.
- An innovative mindset, curious about AI and emerging technologies.
