Job Summary

This Onboarding Consultant I position is responsible for providing functional solution expertise to customers during the onboarding process. Key responsibilities include creating and delivering workflow analysis presentations and organization build workshops. The role involves conducting validation sessions for organization build, trial conversions, Smart Start, training plans, product analysis, and professional services statements of work (PST-SOW). This position also oversees end-user, superuser, and other training delivered during onboarding, managing contract trainers, and ensuring proper knowledge transfer from workflow analysis and organization building workshops to training sessions. This role focuses on customers in all business segments, including Private Practice and Strategic Accounts.

What You Will Do

  • Coordinate the execution of defined customer training plans with trainers, scheduling work assignments, and informing contract trainers.
  • Conduct knowledge transfer discussions with trainers, covering customer expectations, specific workflow needs, and change management strategies.
  • Complete or oversee onsite Workflow Analysis.
  • Work with customers to complete Organization Build Workshops or SmartStarts and validation, assisting in database construction.
  • Manage project tasks, add-on training, and post-Go Live tasks, collaborating with the project manager.
  • Oversee and manage remaining tasks and training for Strategic Account or DSO customers after Go Live.
  • Recognize and provide input into process improvement efforts, leading them as needed.
  • Work with team members to operationalize new professional service offerings.
  • Collaborate with Sales and Customer Success teams to advise on successful onboarding of Henry Schein ONE solutions.
  • Contribute to the achievement of individual, team, department, and company goals.
  • Manage multiple, simultaneous Onboarding projects and resolve customer escalations.

Travel/Physical Demands

Travel typically less than 10-20%. This is an office environment role with no special physical demands required.

Qualifications

Must Have
  • Typically, 2 to 4 years of related professional experience.
  • Typically, a bachelor’s degree or global equivalent in a related discipline.
  • Minimum of 3 years of practice management solution training or management, relevant Dental Industry experience, or Solution Consulting experience with software in a SaaS Cloud environment.
  • Dental Software Experience (Dentrix Ascend/Core/Enterprise, Dental Technology or other software).
  • Ability to see and present 'the big picture,' uncover business challenges, and architect solutions.
  • Strong customer-facing and relationship-building skills.
  • Demonstrated excellent verbal and written communication skills; proficient in needs analysis, positioning, business justification, and closing techniques.
  • High level of proficiency with Strategic Accounts, understanding the complexities of large DSOs and NDSOs.
  • Intermediate understanding of competitive products and strong understanding of industry practices.
  • General proficiency with tools, systems, and procedures.
  • Good planning/organizational skills, decision-making, analysis, and problem-solving skills.
  • Good verbal, written communication, presentation, and public speaking skills.
  • Good interpersonal skills with developing professional credibility.
Nice to Have
  • Dental experience preferred.
  • Dentrix Ascend experience.
  • Strong critical thinking skills.
