Overview

Join Henry Ford Health as a Part-Time Pharmacist and make a meaningful impact on patient care. This role focuses on comprehensive, patient-oriented pharmacy services during day shifts.

Schedule and Location

Schedule: Part Time, 24 hours per week - Day shiftsLocation: Detroit, MI

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate dispensing of medications including unit dose and IV admixtures.
  • Review patient charts and verify medication orders for accuracy.
  • Supervise supportive personnel during assigned shifts.
  • Provide drug information and pharmacokinetic dosing consultation.
  • Participate in training pharmacy interns, externs, and support staff.

Qualifications

Must hold a degree from an accredited college of pharmacy; residency in hospital pharmacy is strongly preferred. Inpatient pharmacy experience and experience with sterile compounding are highly valued. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential along with sound clinical judgment and a strong understanding of pharmacotherapy.

Certifications and Licensure

Licensure in the State of Michigan is required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
