Join Henry Ford Health Providence Southfield Hospital as an Inpatient Pharmacist, working full-time midnights. This role is crucial for assuring the appropriate selection, dosing, administering, and dispensing of medication orders within a dynamic hospital environment.

Principle Duties & Responsibilities
- Reviews and assesses medication orders to identify, prevent, and resolve potential and actual drug-related problems, recommending formulary alternatives when appropriate.
- Compounds and dispenses medications accurately for patient delivery.
- Provides essential drug information and education to medical staff and patients.
- Communicates effectively with physicians and other clinicians to facilitate optimal patient care.
- Oversees technical personnel involved in medication preparation, maintenance, and dispensing.
- Assists with academic functions, including serving as a preceptor for pharmacy students.
- May float to provide coverage for various pharmacy needs.
- Provides efficient and effective patient counseling when required.
Education/Experience Required
- Bachelor's or advanced degree in Pharmacy required.
- PGY1 pharmacy residency or equivalent experience preferred.
Certifications/Licensures Required
- Pharmacist credentialed from the Michigan Board of Pharmacy obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
