Job Description

Sales Engineer Automotive Components - Henkel Adhesive Technologies

You will join a South-European sales team and contribute to our purpose of shaping the automotive industry through our high-impact sealing, bonding and component protection solutions for Exterior, Power-Train, Inferior and Chassis parts. As a sales engineer responsible for our customers in France, your main responsibilities will be the following:

What You'll Do

  • Execute local sales plans (short, mid, long term) in line with business unit strategy to maintain and develop existing / acquire new customers.
  • Execute customer roadmap and manage / close respective CRM tool (ACE) growth opportunities.
  • Execute pricing actions.
  • Build and maintain relationships with customers and distributors.
  • Provide input to Manager on customer needs, business trends, competitive situations in territory.
  • Coordinate with TCS (Technical Customer Service) to conduct line trials / (re)solve customer requests and complaints.
  • Deliver KP OSG and PC % in territory / at defined account.

What Makes You a Good Fit

  • Successfully completed Master's or Bachelor's degree in engineering or another technical field.
  • 3+ years of relevant professional experience in technical B2B sales, preferably in the automotive industry.
  • Ability to work independently and autonomously in international teams.
  • Strong commercial mindset (sales, medium / long term commercial strategic perspective).
  • Sensitive to clients’ needs, ability to create customer relationships based on trust.
  • Leadership mindset with entrepreneurial spirit.
  • Great team player with hands-on mentality.
  • Knowledge & interest in social selling and digital competence.
  • Territorial portfolio management and value selling.
  • Fluent French & English language skills.
  • Residence in Île de France, North, Central East France.
