Position Overview

As a mid-level Refrigeration Design Engineer at Henderson Engineers, you contribute to six market sectors including Business, Community, Grocery & Distribution, Health, Retail, and Venue. You work with our sister company, Henderson Building Solutions, combining engineering expertise with practical field experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform calculations and design advanced engineering systems independently.
• Create detailed electrical layouts, drawings, and schematics.
• Review shop drawings to ensure adherence to specifications.
• Research and evaluate equipment feasibility and product application.
• Support project coordination and client interactions throughout project delivery.
• Utilize industry software including Revit, Bluebeam Revu and Microsoft Office.
• Assist in training colleagues and maintaining strategic industry relationships.

Required & Preferred Qualifications

Mid-Level Engineers require a bachelor’s degree (preferred) with 3 years experience (or equivalent without degree) and proficiency in Revit and Bluebeam. Experienced candidates should have advanced skills and greater years of experience with additional accreditations like PE license, FE exam, LEED, or WELL accreditation.
