About the Role: Junior Ops Data Engineer at HelloFresh

As our Junior Ops Data Engineer, you will play a crucial role in supporting the HelloFresh ANZ Operations teams. Your work will directly contribute to driving supply chain efficiency and enabling operational complexity through technical automation and insightful data. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a significant impact on HelloFresh Australia & New Zealand customers and our supply chain operations. We are seeking a self-motivated and curious individual eager to own key data pipelines and resolve pain points within our operations and supply chain.

This position is based in Auckland and reports directly to the Senior Manager - Ops Data Engineering ANZ.

Key Responsibilities

• Scale our data infrastructure, ensuring quality, accessibility, and database efficiency.
• Create new data pipelines as necessary to support business growth and facilitate new analyses.
• Identify existing gaps in our data setup and formulate forward-thinking solutions.
• Actively contribute to the development and execution of our data roadmap.
• Promote and enhance data literacy and enablement across the organization.
• Collaborate effectively within the Engineering team, upskilling and learning from peers.
• Work closely with key operations stakeholders throughout Australia and New Zealand.
• Champion and embody HelloFresh’s DNA, thriving in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

What You'll Bring

• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or a closely related field.
• Demonstrated experience working with a programming language such as Python or SQL.
• A proven track record of successfully learning new languages and technologies.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, adaptable for both technical and non-technical audiences.
