Overview

The Software Engineer Annotators role is a short-term, high-intensity contract with a leading AI research organization. This opportunity is available for early-career engineers from the United States, United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand.

Key Responsibilities

  • Evaluate and annotate code snippets, scripts, and software tasks.
  • Identify logical errors, inefficiencies, and improvements in code samples.
  • Provide structured feedback on programming logic, implementation, and clarity.
  • Work independently to meet daily annotation and review goals.
  • Maintain consistency and precision when applying labeling guidelines.

Ideal Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
  • Proficiency in multiple programming languages (Python, C++, Go, or Java).
  • Strong fundamentals in algorithms, data structures, debugging, and code analysis.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Prior experience in structured software evaluations is a plus.
  • Residency in United States, United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, or New Zealand.
