Position Overview

Responsibilities

• Develop original, graduate-level problems in pure and applied mathematics.
• Evaluate AI-generated solutions and identify gaps in ability.
• Provide structured feedback and generate complete and correct solutions.
• Design novel, advanced mathematics problems.
• Closely review, test, and evaluate AI solutions for correctness and clarity.

Required Qualifications

• Current PhD student, post-doc, or recent PhD graduate (<5 years ago) in pure or applied mathematics.
• Highly proficient in writing and formatting documents using LaTeX.
• Expertise in algebra, geometry, combinatorics, number theory, analysis, probability, or related fields.
• Ability to clearly articulate complex reasoning in written form.
• Rigorous attention to detail and independent work style.

Engagement Details

This is a remote, flexible independent contractor role with an expected commitment of 20 to 40 hours per week for approximately 10 weeks. Rolling start dates with setup typically within 1–2 days of approval.
