Job Overview

Helic & Co. is seeking a skilled and innovative Cloud Engineer to design, deploy, and manage scalable, secure, and resilient cloud infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of cloud platforms, automation, and DevOps practices, with a passion for solving complex infrastructure challenges.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement cloud infrastructure solutions using AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, CloudFormation, or ARM templates.
  • Automate deployment pipelines and configuration management using CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions.
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize cloud systems for high availability and performance.
  • Implement cloud security best practices including IAM, encryption, and compliance monitoring.
  • Collaborate with developers, DevOps engineers, and IT teams to integrate applications with cloud infrastructure.
  • Perform cost optimization and usage monitoring for efficient resource use.
  • Stay updated with emerging trends and technologies in cloud computing and automation.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Experience with at least one cloud platform (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
  • Hands-on experience with containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Strong understanding of networking, security protocols, and cloud architecture.
  • Experience with monitoring and logging tools like Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch, or Stackdriver.
  • Familiarity with version control tools like Git.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to collaborate effectively.
