Position Overview

This role is focused on supporting administrative, sales, and management needs within the branch while backing up the sales team to address customer needs and grow sales across assigned accounts.

Organization

A successful Business Development & Support Specialist at Heilind Electronics will be organized and collaborative, ensuring excellent customer service and effective teamwork with inside teams, field sales, and management.

Performance Objectives

Initial 2 Weeks: Meet branch leadership to understand the Company vision and set individual objectives. Within 30 Days: Learn Heilind's structure and system tools under the guidance of your BSOM (Inside Sales Manager). Within 60 Days: Identify top branch support priorities, introduce yourself to accounts, and engage with the Field Sales Team regarding top 15 accounts while mastering CRM and sales tools. Within 90 Days: Execute priority support functions at a high level, introduce yourself to top 10 Supplier Reps, and complete all assigned training modules. Within 6 Months: Balance support role with new account development, collaborate regularly with your Inside Sales Manager, and identify new customers or opportunities totaling $100,000.

Experience & Requirements

  • At least two years of sales/marketing or sales support experience.
  • Experience in electronic component distribution or a related field is preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
