About The Role

The Supply Chain Manager NW Aggregates is responsible for the safe, efficient and profitable operations of quarries in the North West business unit. Key responsibilities include managing project timelines, costs and quality, overseeing fleet operations, managing on-site contractors and employees, ensuring project safety, health and environmental compliance, reporting progress and documentation, and providing sales support to internal and external customers.

  • Planning and monitoring project activities and fleet management.
  • Managing contractors, employees and safety programs.
  • Ensuring regulatory and company standards are met.
  • Providing sales support and project documentation.

Background And Experience Required

Candidates should have a tertiary qualification in engineering or mining. Additional qualifications in HSEQ or Project Management are highly regarded. Quarrying experience is beneficial though not essential. Applicants must have at least 5 years of practical experience in team supervision (with 2+ years in direct supervision) and experience working in remote locations or operating unsupervised. Strong verbal communication skills and expertise with Microsoft Office are required.
