About the Role
This Part-Time role is based at Philadelphia Distilling in Philadelphia, PA. The role requires work on Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday each week. Philadelphia Distilling, opened in 2005 as the first craft distillery in Pennsylvania since Prohibition, is known for its award-winning Bluecoat American Dry Gin and offers a unique tasting room experience with multiple event spaces.
What the Role Is
As a bartender at Philadelphia Distilling, you will create memorable experiences in the tasting room, entertain and educate guests, ensure efficient beverage service, and maintain the cleanliness and appearance of the bar.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional guest experiences with product knowledge.
- Execute traditional and innovative mixology techniques.
- Develop bar offerings including cocktails, flights, and snacks.
- Maintain high sanitation and cleanliness standards.
- Follow state liquor regulations and report to management.
- Participate in ongoing training to enhance brand advocacy.
Who You Are
You are a skilled bartender with at least 2 years’ experience and must be RAMP certified or willing to gain certification. You have strong mixology skills, excellent communication, a service-oriented mindset, and the ability to work effectively in a team in fast-paced, high volume settings. Flexible hours, including nights and weekends, are required.
Physical Requirements
The role requires standing, walking, speaking, and occasional lifting of up to 20 pounds.
