Overview
WBAL TV Hearst Television in Baltimore is seeking a Business Analyst to support its teams at a leading NBC station, WBAL NewsRadio, and 98 Rock. This role focuses on HR, payroll, and accounts payable functions for approximately 225 employees.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide recruiting assistance and support onboarding/offboarding processes
- Manage leave, benefits, and employee data through Oracle HCM
- Perform various HR reporting and accounts payable processing
- Handle cash receipt coding, check scanning, and bi-weekly payroll activities using ADP
- Maintain union collective bargaining agreement relations
What We Are Looking For
The ideal candidate is trustworthy, maintains confidentiality, and possesses excellent communication skills. They should be eager to learn additional business functions, work well in a fast-paced environment, and have experience with Excel, ADP, Oracle Cloud Human Capital Management, and other relevant software. Prior HR and payroll experience is essential, with PHR/SHRM-CP considered a plus. Military training and experience will also be valued.
