Job Overview for Extended Day Program Assistant

We are seeking passionate and energetic individuals for part-time Childcare Assistant roles for the 2025-2026 school year at James Faulkner Elementary in Stoddard, NH. This role involves assisting with hands-on activities following the Healthy Kids Curriculum that covers fitness, STEAM, academics, arts, and homework support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with curriculum-based activities including fitness, STEAM, arts and academics.
  • Create a safe and fun environment for children.
  • Communicate with parents and family via the Playground App.
  • Follow state guidelines, program policies and host school rules.

Qualifications

  • 18 years or older with a High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience with children under 13 is a plus but not required.
  • Pass a background check and provide doctor clearance.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks (bend, stretch, lift up to 50 lbs.).
  • Warm, friendly, and professional personality with excellent people skills.
