Position Overview: Extended Day Program Director
This part-time role, located at Fletcher Elementary School in Cambridge, VT, will oversee the After School Program for the 2025-2026 school year. You will manage program operations, ensure compliance, engage in fun curriculum activities, maintain records and staffing, and communicate with parents using the Playground App.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure program adheres to state guidelines and company policies.
- Direct engaging hands-on activities including fitness, STEAM, academics, and arts.
- Manage attendance, registration, and staffing levels.
- Communicate regularly with parents via the Playground App.
- Collaborate with team members and direct reports to resolve issues.
Education & Experience
Candidates must be at least 18 years of age with a BA, BS, or Associates degree. Qualifications include: ten months direct work with school age children, or a Vermont certification (On-the-Job Training, Afterschool Professional Credential, Program Director Credential, or Teacher Licensure) or a Master’s Degree in a youth-related field.
