Overview

Healthy Kids, a rapidly growing childcare provider with over 100 locations, is seeking an Extended Day Program Director to lead our After School Program at Manchester Elementary School in Manchester Center, VT for the 2025-2026 school year.

Job Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with state guidelines, Healthy Kids policies and host school rules.
• Direct engaging, hands-on activities using the Healthy Kids Curriculum covering fitness, STEAM, academics, arts, and homework support.
• Manage administrative tasks including attendance, registration records, and staffing levels.
• Maintain open communication with parents through the Playground App.
• Collaborate closely with your direct report to address daily program needs.

Qualifications

Candidates must be at least 18 years old and hold a BA, BS, or Associate's degree, along with one of the following: 10+ months of direct experience with school age children, Vermont certifications or credentials in youth-related fields, or a Master’s degree in a youth-related field. Applicants should be medically fit, personable, and physically capable of managing energetic activities (lifting up to 50 lbs.).
