Job Details

This part-time, non-exempt position is available at Grafflin, Roaring Brook, and Westorchard Elementary Schools in Chappaqua, NY. Roles include Substitutes, Assistants, Group Leaders, Supervisors, and Directors.

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate hands-on activities following the Healthy Kids Curriculum (fitness, STEAM, academic, art, homework support).
  • Ensure a safe, healthy, and fun environment while being a positive role model.
  • Communicate daily with parents via the Playground App.
  • Follow state guidelines, internal policies, and host school policies.
  • For management roles: maintain attendance records, manage registrations, and staffing.

Qualifications

  • 18 years or older with a High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience with children under 13 is a plus but not mandatory.
  • Medically fit and free of communicable diseases.
  • Excellent people skills with a warm, friendly, professional demeanor.
  • Physical ability to bend, stretch, lift, and carry up to 50 lbs.
