Position Details

Location: Genesee Valley School in Belmont, NY for the 2025-2026 school year.

Job Status: Part-time, non-exempt with positions available as Substitutes, Assistants, Group Leaders, Supervisors, and Directors.

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour (based on role, qualifications, and experience).

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate hands-on activities based on the Healthy Kids Curriculum including fitness, STEAM, academic, art, and homework completion.
  • Provide a safe, healthy, and fun environment while acting as a positive role model.
  • Communicate daily with parents using the Playground App.
  • Follow state guidelines, program policies, and host school policies.
  • For management roles: Manage attendance, registration, and staffing.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 18 years or older with a High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience with children under 13 is a plus but not required.
  • Medically fit and free of communicable diseases, including TB.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a friendly, upbeat attitude.
  • Ability to bend, stretch, lift, and carry up to 50 lbs.
