Position Overview
The Before and After School Program Staff positions for the 2025-2026 school year are available in Skoi Yase Primary and LaFayette Intermediate School in Waterloo, NY. This part-time, non-exempt job offers multiple roles including Substitutes, Assistants, Group Leaders, Supervisors, and Directors.
Responsibilities
- Facilitate hands-on activities with the Healthy Kids Curriculum (fitness, STEAM, academic, art, homework support).
- Create a safe, healthy, and fun environment as a positive role model.
- Communicate daily with parents via the Playground App.
- Observe state guidelines, program policies, and host school policies.
- For management roles: maintain accurate attendance, registration, and staffing records.
Requirements
- Minimum 18 years old with a High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Experience with children under 13 is advantageous but not required.
- Medically fit and free of communicable diseases.
- Warm, professional, friendly, and reliable with strong people skills.
- Capable of physical tasks such as bending, stretching, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
