Location & Program Details

This role is for the Before and After School Program at Franklin Elementary School in North Franklin, CT for the 2025-2026 school year.

Job Status and Pay

This is a part-time, non-exempt position. Pay is $16.35 per hour, based on role, qualifications, and experience.

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate hands-on activities aligned with the Healthy Kids Curriculum (fitness, STEAM, academics, arts, and homework assistance).
  • Create a safe, healthy, and fun environment for children to thrive.
  • Communicate with parents and family members via the Playground App.
  • Follow state guidelines, Healthy Kids Extended Day Program policies, and host school rules.
  • For management roles: handle attendance, registration, and staffing.

Requirements

  • Must be 18 years or older with a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience with children under 13 is preferred but not required.
  • Must be medically fit, with no communicable diseases.
  • Warm, friendly, reliable, professional, and punctual personality.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks (bend, stretch, lift up to 50 lbs).
