Position Details

We are hiring for multiple positions for our Before and After School Program for the 2025-2026 school year at Hyde Park Elementary School in Hyde Park, NY. Available roles include Substitutes, Assistants, Group Leaders, Supervisors, and Directors.

Job Status: Part-time, non-exempt

Pay: $15.50 - $17.00 per hour (based on role, qualifications, and experience)

Role Responsibilities

  • Facilitate hands-on activities using the Healthy Kids Curriculum.
  • Provide a safe, healthy, and fun environment for children.
  • Communicate daily with parents through the Playground App.
  • Follow state guidelines and program policies.
  • Some roles include management functions such as attendance and registration.

Qualifications

Minimum qualifications include being 18+, holding a high school diploma or equivalent, and being medically fit and free of communicable diseases. Experience with children under 13 is a plus but not mandatory. The candidate should exhibit exceptional people skills and be prepared physically to engage with children.
