Position Details

We are hiring for multiple roles (Substitutes, Assistants, Group Leaders, Supervisors, Directors) for the Before and After School Program for the 2025-2026 school year at AJ Smith Elementary School in Union Springs, NY. This is a part-time, non-exempt position with pay ranging from $15.50 to $17.00 per hour, based on role, qualifications, and experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Facilitate hands-on activities following the Healthy Kids Curriculum including fitness, STEAM, academic, art, and homework support.
  • Maintain a safe, healthy, and fun environment and act as a positive role model.
  • Communicate daily with parents and family members via the Playground App.
  • Observe state guidelines, company policies and school policies.
  • For management roles: handle attendance records, registration, and staffing.

Requirements

Candidates must be 18 years or older with a High School Diploma or equivalent. Experience with children under 13 is beneficial but not mandatory. Candidates must be medically fit, able to lift up to 50 lbs, and possess excellent interpersonal skills.
