Job Overview

The Before and After School Program Staff role is available for multiple positions (Substitutes, Assistants, Group Leaders, Supervisors, Directors) for the 2025-2026 school year at Grafflin, Roaring Brook and Westorchard Elementary School, Chappaqua, NY. This part-time, non-exempt position pays between $16.50 and $18.00 per hour, depending on role, qualifications, and experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Facilitate hands-on activities following the Healthy Kids Curriculum including fitness, STEAM, academic, art, and group activities.
  • Provide a safe, healthy, and fun environment while acting as a positive role model.
  • Communicate daily with parents via the Playground App.
  • Observe state guidelines, program policies, and host school rules.
  • For management roles, manage attendance, registration, and staffing.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 18 years or older with a High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience with children under 13 is a plus but not required.
  • Medically fit and free of any communicable diseases.
  • Excellent people skills and a professional, reliable, and prompt attitude.
  • Ability to bend, stretch, lift, and carry up to 50 lbs.
