Position Overview
Join the Before and After School Program team at DB Bunce Elementary School in Pavilion, NY for the 2025-2026 school year. This part-time, non-exempt role includes positions such as Substitutes, Assistants, Group Leaders, Supervisors, and Directors.
Responsibilities
- Facilitate hands-on activities using the Healthy Kids Curriculum including fitness, STEAM, academic, art, and group exercises.
- Provide a safe, healthy, and fun environment while serving as a positive role model.
- Communicate daily with parents and family members via the Playground App.
- Observe state guidelines, organizational policies, and host school policies.
- For management roles, maintain attendance records, registration and staffing requirements.
Requirements
- At least 18 years old with a High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Experience with children under 13 is a plus.
- Medically fit to perform duties and free of communicable diseases.
- Strong people skills, professionalism, and reliability are essential.
- Ability to bend, stretch, lift, and perform physical tasks (up to 50 lbs.).
