Position Overview - Before and After School Program Staff
This role supports the before and after school program at William Cottle Elementary School in Eastchester, NY for the 2025-2026 school year. The team includes positions such as Substitutes, Assistants, Group Leaders, Supervisors, and Directors.
Key Responsibilities
- Facilitate hands-on activities based on the Healthy Kids Curriculum covering fitness, STEAM, academic, art, and group activities.
- Ensure a safe, healthy, and fun environment while serving as a positive role model for children.
- Communicate daily with parents and family members via the Playground App.
- Adhere to state guidelines, program policies, and host school regulations.
- For management roles: maintain attendance, registration, and staffing records.
Minimum Qualifications
- Age 18 or older with a High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Experience with children under 13 is a plus but not required.
- Physically able to perform job duties including lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Friendly, personable, reliable, and professional with excellent interpersonal skills.
