About Healthy Kids Programs
Healthy Kids is one of the fastest-growing providers of Early Learning, Before and After School, and Summer Camp Programs. With over 100 locations and a certified benefit corporation status, the mission is to reinvent accessible and affordable childcare for today’s families.
Position Overview
The Before and After School Program Staff role for the 2025-2026 school year is available at Woestina Elementary School in Rotterdam Junction, NY. Multiple positions are open including Substitutes, Assistants, Group Leaders, Supervisors, and Directors.
Key Responsibilities
- Facilitate hands-on activities based on the Healthy Kids Curriculum (fitness, STEAM, academic, art, group activities, and homework support).
- Provide a safe, healthy, and fun environment and serve as a positive role model.
- Communicate daily with parents via the Playground App.
- Adhere to state guidelines, Healthy Kids Extended Day Program policies, and host school policies.
- Some roles include management of attendance records, registration, and staffing.
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
- 18 years or older with a High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Experience working with children under 13 is preferred but not required.
- Medically fit and free of communicable diseases.
- Strong people skills with a warm, friendly, and upbeat attitude.
- Physical ability to bend, stretch, lift, and carry up to 50 lbs.
