Position Overview
The Before and After School Program Staff role at our Penn-Bernville Elementary School location in Bernville, PA focuses on facilitating the Healthy Kids Curriculum that includes fitness, STEAM, academic, art, and group activities. This position requires working with children, maintaining safety and compliance with policies, and ensuring clear communication with parents through the Playground App.
Key Responsibilities
- Facilitate curriculum-based hands-on activities.
- Provide a safe and engaging environment for children.
- Communicate daily with parents via the Playground App.
- Adhere to state and school policies.
- Manage attendance, registration, and staffing when required.
Minimum Qualifications
- 18 years or older with a High School Diploma or equivalent.
- At least 2 years experience working with children under 13.
- Medically fit and free of communicable diseases, including TB.
- Warm, friendly, professional, reliable, and prompt with excellent people skills.
- Physically capable of bending, stretching, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
