Position Overview
The Before and After School Program Staff role involves facilitating hands-on activities following the Healthy Kids Curriculum, which includes fitness, STEAM, academic, art and other group activities plus homework support. You will also ensure a safe, healthy, and fun environment, maintain communication with parents via the Playground App, and uphold program policies and guidelines.
Key Responsibilities
- Facilitate hands-on curriculum activities
- Promote a safe and fun environment
- Communicate daily with parents
- Observe state, school, and program policies
- Manage attendance, registrations and staffing for some roles
Qualifications
You must be 18 or older with a High School Diploma (or equivalent). Experience with children under 13 is a plus but not mandatory. You need to be medically fit and capable of handling physical activities including bending, stretching, lifting (up to 50 lbs.), and carrying.
