About Healthy Kids Programs
Healthy Kids is a rapidly growing childcare provider with over 100 locations. We deliver Early Learning, Before and After School, and Summer Camp Programs, and operate as a certified benefit corporation on a mission to provide accessible, affordable childcare.
Position Overview: After School Program Supervisor
This part-time position is for the 2025-2026 School Year at Dolgeville Elementary in Dolgeville, NY. You will lead hands-on activities based on the Healthy Kids Curriculum, ensure a safe and engaging environment, and support management functions when required.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead direct activities including fitness, STEAM, academic, and arts initiatives.
- Create a safe, healthy, and fun environment for children.
- Assist the Site Director with attendance, registration, and staffing duties.
- Serve as the designated person in charge in the Director's absence.
- Communicate regularly with parents via the Playground App.
- Adhere to OCFS guidelines, program policies, and school rules.
- Participate in regular meetings with the Director for decision-making and problem-solving.
Qualifications & Requirements
A high school diploma or equivalent plus two years of experience with children under 13; OR a School-age Child Care Credential with one year of experience; OR an Associate’s degree in Child Development, Elementary Education, Physical Education, Recreation, or a related field.
Must be medically fit and free of communicable diseases. Candidates should be warm, friendly, reliable, and physically able to handle job duties including lifting up to 50 lbs.
Schedule & Compensation
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 2:30 pm - 6:00 pm. Pay: $15.75 per hour.
