Position Overview
This role is for After School Program Staff for the 2025-2026 school year at multiple schools in Yonkers, NY. Positions include Substitutes, Assistants, Group Leaders, Supervisors, and Directors.
Responsibilities
- Facilitate hands-on activities following the Healthy Kids Curriculum covering fitness, STEAM, academic, art, and group activities.
- Provide a safe, healthy, and fun environment and serve as a positive role model.
- Communicate daily with parents via the Playground App.
- Observe state guidelines, program policies, and host school regulations.
- For some roles, manage attendance records, registration, and staffing.
Qualifications
- 18 years or older and holds a High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Experience with children under 13 is a plus but not required.
- Medically fit and free from communicable diseases.
- Warm, friendly, upbeat with exceptional people skills.
- Physically capable of bending, stretching, lifting up to 50 lbs.
