Position Details

This role is for multiple positions (Substitutes, Assistants, Group Leaders, Supervisors, Directors) for the After School Program at Lee F Jackson Elementary School in White Plains, NY for the 2025-2026 school year. The pay is $16.50 - $18.00 per hour, based on role, qualifications and experience. This is a part-time, non-exempt role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Facilitate hands-on activities using the Healthy Kids Curriculum.
  • Provide a safe, fun, and healthy environment for children.
  • Communicate daily with parents via the Playground App.
  • Follow state guidelines and program policies.
  • Some roles include management duties such as tracking attendance and staffing.

Minimum Qualifications & Requirements

  • 18 years or older with a High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience with children under 13 is a plus.
  • Medically fit and free of communicable diseases.
  • Warm, friendly, professional and reliable with strong people skills.
  • Able to perform physical tasks up to 50 lbs.
