Position Details

This position is for our After-School Program at Lee F Jackson Elementary School in White Plains, NY for the 2025-2026 school year. We are hiring for multiple roles including Substitutes, Assistants, Group Leaders, Supervisors, and Directors.

Pay & Job Status

Part-time, non-exempt with pay ranging from $16.50 to $18.00 per hour based on role, qualifications, and experience.

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate hands-on activities following the Healthy Kids Curriculum including fitness, STEAM, academic, art activities, and homework completion.
  • Provide a safe, healthy, and fun environment while acting as a positive role model.
  • Communicate daily with parents and family members via the Playground App.
  • Follow state guidelines alongside Healthy Kids and host school policies.
  • Some roles include management tasks such as attendance, registration, and staffing.

Requirements

  • Minimum age of 18 and a High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience working with children under 13 is beneficial but not mandatory.
  • Must be medically fit and free of communicable diseases.
  • Possess exceptional people skills and a reliable, professional attitude.
  • Ability to physically manage tasks such as bending, stretching, lifting up to 50 lbs.
