Position Overview

Healthy Kids Programs is hiring for multiple positions for the After School Program at Sunderland Elementary School in Sunderland, VT for the 2025-2026 school year. Roles include Substitutes, Assistants, Supervisors, and Directors on a part-time, non-exempt basis.

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate hands-on activities using the Healthy Kids Curriculum (fitness, STEAM, academics, arts, and homework assistance).
  • Create a safe, engaging environment where kids can thrive.
  • Engage with parents via the Playground App.
  • Follow state guidelines, internal policies, and host school rules.
  • Some roles include management tasks such as attendance, registration, and staffing.

Requirements

  • 18 years or older with a High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience with children under 13 is preferred but not required.
  • Must be medically fit and free of communicable diseases.
  • Exceptional people skills and reliability are essential.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 50 lbs.
