Position Details
This After School Program Staff role for the 2025-2026 school year at Fonda Fultonville Elementary School in Fonda, NY is offered as part-time, non-exempt. Positions include Substitutes, Assistants, Supervisors, and Directors with pay ranging from $15.50 to $17.00 per hour based on role, qualifications, and experience.
Responsibilities
- Facilitate hands-on activities following the Healthy Kids Curriculum including fitness, STEAM, academic, art, and group activities.
- Provide a safe, healthy, and fun environment and act as a positive role model for children.
- Communicate daily with parents and family via the Playground App.
- Follow state guidelines, Healthy Kids Extended Day Program policies, and host school policies.
- For management positions: maintain accurate attendance records, registration, and staffing.
Minimum Qualifications
- 18 years or older with a High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Experience with children under 13 is a plus, but not mandatory.
- Medically fit with clearance from a doctor.
- Warm, friendly, upbeat with exceptional people skills.
- Ability to bend, stretch, lift, carry (up to 50 lbs.)
