Position Overview - After School Program Staff

This part-time, non-exempt role is available for multiple positions - Substitutes, Assistants, and Directors - at Fletcher Elementary School in Cambridge, VT for the 2025–2026 school year. The position pays between $15.00 and $18.00 per hour depending on qualifications and experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Facilitate hands-on activities following the Healthy Kids Curriculum, including fitness, STEAM, academic adventures, arts, and homework help.
  • Create a safe, healthy, and engaging environment for children.
  • Stay connected with parents via the Playground App to share updates and moments.
  • Adhere to state guidelines, program policies, and host school rules.
  • For certain roles, manage attendance, registration, and staffing functions.

Requirements

Candidates must be 18 years or older, hold a High School Diploma or equivalent, and be medically fit to perform the duties. A friendly, professional, and reliable demeanor is essential along with physical ability to handle active tasks (lift up to 50 lbs.).
