Position Overview
Join our team as a part-time Site Supervisor for the After School Program at Highland Falls Intermediate School in Highland Falls, NY. In this role, you will lead direct hands-on activities based on the Healthy Kids Curriculum including fitness, STEAM, academic adventures, arts, and homework help. You will create a safe, healthy, and fun environment, assist the Site Director with management functions, and act as the designated leader when required.
Job Responsibilities
- Deliver curriculum-based activities (fitness, STEAM, arts, etc.).
- Create a safe and engaging learning environment.
- Assist with attendance, registration, and staffing tasks.
- Communicate regularly with parents via the Playground App.
- Follow OCFS guidelines and program policies.
- Meet with the Director to solve problems and strategize.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent with 2 years of experience with children under 13, OR a School-age Child Care Credential with at least 1 year of experience, OR an Associate’s degree in a related field.
- Medically fit and free of communicable diseases.
- Warm, friendly, and professional with excellent people skills.
- Capable of physical tasks such as bending, stretching, lifting up to 50 lbs.
