Position Overview
The After School Program Director will lead our After School Program for the 2025-2026 school year at Fletcher Elementary School in Cambridge, VT. You will drive every operational aspect of the site by ensuring compliance with state guidelines and Healthy Kids policies, while engaging children in hands-on activities.
Job Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with state guidelines, Healthy Kids policies, and host school rules.
- Direct engaging hands-on activities covering fitness, STEAM, academics, arts, and homework support.
- Manage attendance, registration, and staffing needs effectively.
- Maintain clear communication with parents via the Playground App.
- Collaborate closely with your direct report to address daily operational issues.
Requirements
To qualify, candidates must be at least 18 years old and hold a BA, BS, or Associates degree, combined with direct work experience with school-age children or relevant Vermont certifications/licenses. Candidates must also be physically fit and capable of handling job demands, including lifting up to 50 lbs.
