Role Overview: After School Program Director
This part-time role at Manchester Elementary School in Manchester Center, VT, is for the 2025-2026 school year. As the Director, you will lead the after school program, ensure compliance with state guidelines and Healthy Kids policies, and drive engaging activities based on the Healthy Kids Curriculum.
Responsibilities
- Guide compliance with state guidelines and internal policies.
- Lead engaging, hands-on activities ranging from fitness and STEAM to academics and arts.
- Manage attendance, registration records, and staffing levels.
- Maintain communication with parents via the Playground App.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and direct reports.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age with a BA, BS, or Associates degree.
- Experience with school-age children or relevant certifications/license (Vermont credentials preferred) or a Master’s in a youth-related field.
- Medically fit and free of communicable diseases.
- Strong interpersonal skills and physical capability (lift up to 50 lbs.).
