Job Overview: After School Program Director

As the After School Program Director for the 2025-2026 school year at Currier Memorial School in Danby, VT, you will lead the operations of the Healthy Kids Program Site. You will ensure compliance with state guidelines, coordinate engaging curriculum-based activities, manage administrative tasks, and communicate with parents using the Playground App.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure compliance with state guidelines and Healthy Kids policies.
  • Direct engaging activities including fitness, STEAM, academics, and arts.
  • Manage attendance, registration records and staffing.
  • Maintain open communication with parents and team members.

Requirements

Minimum qualifications include a BA, BS, or Associates degree and at least ten months of direct work experience with school age children or an equivalent Vermont credential. Applicants must be medically fit, personable, reliable, and capable of handling physical tasks up to 50 lbs.
