Job Overview

This part-time role at James Faulkner Elementary in Stoddard, NH, runs Monday through Friday from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm. The assistant will facilitate hands-on activities based on the Healthy Kids Curriculum including fitness, STEAM, academic adventures, arts, and homework support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with scheduled activities following the Healthy Kids Curriculum.
  • Create a safe and engaging environment for children.
  • Communicate updates with parents via the Playground App.
  • Adhere to state guidelines, program policies, and school rules.
  • Support children’s physical activities including lifting up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

  • Minimum age 18 with a High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience with children under 13 is preferred, not required.
  • Pass a background check and provide medical clearance.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with children, parents, and colleagues.
