Job Overview: Before School Program Site Supervisor

Join us as a part-time Site Supervisor for our Before School Program at J.V. Forrestal Elementary School in Beacon, NY. In this role, you will oversee direct, hands-on activities, assist with program management, and serve as the key person in charge when needed.

Key Responsibilities

  • Implement the Healthy Kids Curriculum covering fitness, STEAM, academics, arts, and more.
  • Create a safe and engaging environment for children.
  • Assist the Site Director with attendance, registration, staffing, and communication.
  • Manage communications with parents via the Playground App.
  • Follow OCFS guidelines, program policies, and host school rules diligently.
  • Collaborate with the Director to problem-solve and strategize on operational issues.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent with two years of childcare experience, OR a School-age Child Care Credential with one year of experience, OR an Associate’s degree in a related field.
  • Medical clearance and absence of communicable diseases.
  • Warm, friendly, and professional attitude with exceptional people skills.
  • Ability to perform various physical tasks, including lifting up to 50 lbs.
